That's all folks. The last M3 coupe that BMW will build just rolled off of the assembly line. Looking rather resplendent in its bright orange paintwork, this final performance two-door marks the end of a truly wonderful era. Why is this the last coupe? Because the brand will apply the M moniker to the upcoming 4-Series coupe going forward. M4 certainly doesn't have the same ring to it, but we will all get used to it in time. It will likely still be one of the best driver's cars on the road, and remain a performance target for other manufacturers. Still, it's a bit sad that we can't speak...

Track rats, rejoice. You have a new option in the area of dedicated track weapons, and this one bears the name VŪHL on its nose. We've been showing you teasers for a bit now, but the manufacturer has decided to show off all of the 05's goods. That's just what we're dealing with here too, all sorts of "goods" because this is a roofless machine with a purpose. It's a blend of carbon fiber, plastic, and aluminum. The monocoque weighs just 172 pounds, and the entire curb weight of the vehicle is an astonishing 1,532 pounds. That's Kate Moss-on-a-Paleo-binge light. Of course it wouldn't be a...

Rhys Millen, Again Overshadowed, Set Second Fastest Time Ever At Pikes Peak This YearLast year, it was Jeremy Foley's massive off at the Devil's Playground that overshadowed Rhys Millen's run up Pikes Peak, even though he set a new sub-10-minute record in what was nothing more than a lightly modified drift car. This year, it was Sébastien Loeb's stunning 8:13.878 run that...

2013 McLaren MP4-12C Spider: Track DayThere are few cars that are actually abhorrent to drive on track, though there are many ill-suited to the task after the first lap, or even less. It's almost always fun to drive a slow car fast, especially if it has some dire handling deficiency, to be overcome by technique and anticipation--as...

The U.S. government recently sent out a request for proposals on an armored limousine design. Now, that doesn't specifically point to the President, but we're pretty certain that RFP should lead back to the big man in charge. That would...

2014 Porsche Panamera S, 4S, & S E-Hybrid first drive reviewTime travel is, perhaps unexpectedly, enlightening. Thus I recount for you my recent sojourn to the early 21st...
