Volvo Concept Universe teaser
The 2011 Volvo S60 has been turning heads and changing minds about what Volvo's capable of for a few months now, but beyond the new sedan, there hasn't been a lot to get excited about at Volvo of late. This new video, teasing a design study called the Concept Universe, may hint that that's soon to change.
Aside from a few glimpses of sketches, a bare outline, and a besheeted car sitting in a darkened garage, there's not much to work with, though from the proportions, it looks like a full-size four-door coupe project. Being billed as a design study, it may or may not presage a future car from Volvo.
If it does preview a production vehicle, expect the Concept Universe to be a show-only, loose interpretation of what we'll see on the roads. If it's purely an exercise, it may do little more than point to future styling themes.
