Who doesn't love good race car noise? The answer should be everyone who loves cars also loves good race car noise, and that's what we have here thanks to the Acura NSX GT3 race car. Our friends at Racer.com managed to stick a camera into the cabin of one as it was undergoing testing at Daytona International Speedway. In the video above, Driver Ozz Negri is running shakedown laps in advance of the upcoming Rolex 24 Hour race at Daytona, and this means he's giving the twin-turbocharged V-6 engine a bit of a workout.

The racing version of Acura's NSX doesn't have the electric motors and hybrid system employed by the road-going version. Here you have the twin-turbocharged 3.5-liter engine sending its power directly to the rear wheels, and that power is meted out by way of a 6-speed sequential gearbox.

It all makes clearly beautiful music as Negri puts the car through its paces. You can hear the engine work up a roar over the muffling turbos. Mix that in with dashes of gear whine, and you have a recipe for noise that will get any motorsports fan excited. Plus, you get to see a great lap around Daytona's road course.

We can't wait to see how the NSX GT3 puts it all together come race time January 28-29 during the Rolex 24 at Daytona.
