The Nürburgring will host Germany’s only Formula One event next year according to the local newspaper Mannheimer Morgen. Officials at Germany’s other F1 site, Hockenheim, have been informed that no stage will be hosted there next year. Nürburgring’s event will be held during July, while in 2008 Germany may start to stage alternate races between the two regions. No official word has been made yet but it’s understood Bernie Ecclestone is understood to have concluded the negotiations.
