After just posting details on the Brabus tuned CL600, we now have info on another modified CL. Famous Mercedes tuner, Carlsson, has enhanced the Mercedes Benz CL coupe by modifying the engine for better drivability and has tweaked the interior for even more comfort. The 5.5L V12 now produces 600hp (441kW) at 5000rpm with peak torque of 1024Nm from 3500rpm, enabling to launch the big coupe to 100km’h from rest in just 4.4 seconds. Top speed is an electronically controlled 320km/h, necessary because of the threshold of the Dunlop SP Sport Maxx tires.

The performance package includes a stainless sports exhaust system, which is clearly visible from the rear and gives off a glorious note. Light-weight forged alloy wheels further enhance overall performance as does the aerodynamic bodykit. Both the front and rear spoilers contain air diffusers as well as a more aggressive look which manages to remain subtle.

One of the coolest features is the C-Tronic electronic suspension lowering kit that can reduce the height of the vehicle by up to 30mm at high speeds. Inside the car gets a combination of Alcantara and wood grain around the door trim plus a unique leather wrapped Carlsson sports steering wheel.
