Following a recent spate of high-profile crashes involving supercars and luxury sedans in China, a local bus company has launched a new campaign aimed at getting its drivers to be more cautious when the pricey cars are around. Pictured above is part of a poster used by the company to inform its drivers of the types of cars to be careful around. The posters provide information helping the drivers identify badges on expensive automobiles, which is important, reports CarNewsChina, as many of them won't know the difference between a BYD and a Bugatti. The posters include the usual suspects...

2013 Acura RDX first drive reviewIf you've driven the previous Acura RDX, you know the definition of compromise. While it was, in many ways, ahead of its time, the RDX was rough, balky, and awkward as much as it was peppy, fun, and high-tech. Times have changed. The 2013 Acura RDX doesn't look all that much different from the last...

Guilty Pleasure: Renault MedallionWe've only had a single Renault in this series (unless you count the more AMC-ized Eagle Premier), which seems odd. Renault has made some weird cars that leave Americans completely bewildered, and some of those cars remain inexplicably unloved in spite of their incomprehensible Frenchness. The...

Nobuhiro "Monster" Tajima is no stranger to Pikes Peak. In fact, he's the reining master, having been the first to break the 10-minute barrier there and set a new world record last year. Likewise, electric cars aren't new to the peak either, though they're much newer and not nearly as dominating as Tajima. They're not precisely slow, however, with last year's AC Propulsion AC-180 setting a time of 12:20 up the mountain. Competing in the Exhibition class, the AC-180 holds the (newly minted) world record for Pikes Peak, and Tajima plans to take that down, too. He'll take his run at the EV title...

Coming Soon: The Sport Of Electric Car DriftingLike it or not, electric cars will begin making inroads into mainstream motorsports, probably in the not-too-distant future. While the Subaru BRZ and its Toyota GT-86 / Scion FR-S equivalent are two of the most anticipated Japanese sport coupes in history, critics have complained that their 200-horsepower output simply isn’t enough. As Subaru’s global marketing manager, Atoshi Atake, advised Auto Express, “Let me say this - we will certainly satisfy our customers. We are already working on a faster version.” The news should come as no surprise, since Subaru showed a BRZ STI concept...
