Shelby American understands your potential fears that arise with such an important decision... so they're going to let you try their car before you buy it.
This is a new track experience that kicks off on May 9th. It's going to be held at the Spring Mountain facility, which is located about an hour away from the Las Vegas strip. This wonderful facility will play host to those itching for seat time in a variety of Shelby vehicles, and they'll get that seat time for the price of $2,500. This includes instruction from two of Shelby's own factory drivers.

The cars available include the 2015 Shelby GT, a 2014 Shelby GT500, and a base Mustang GT. It's smart to include that GT so that customers can see how much more insane the car becomes once Shelby has wrenched on it. That $2,500 price tag includes lunch and refreshments through the day. It also includes a gift bag filled with some Shelby merchandise as well as a GoPro camera that can be used to capture the on-track fun.
Finally, if you like the car and want to buy one, you can apply that $2,500 you just paid as a deposit on the Shelby vehicle you're going to own someday.
