Ferrari has confirmed today that its last Championship-winning Formula One driver, Kimi Räikkönen, will be returning to the squad for the 2014 season. His new contract lasts for at least two years but that's all we know as no other terms of the deal have been released yet.

Honda’s Civic designed for the rest of the world will soon spawn a high-performance Type R variant, and today we learned some of the specs. The high-rev powerplant of the previous Civic Type R has been dropped in favor of a new turbocharged unit.

Audi gave us a taste of its future model plans with various concepts and production cars at this week’s Frankfurt Auto Show. It looks like Audi’s future cars will stick with quattro drivetrains but offer much more vehicle electrification.
