25 Swedish M5 owners recently met up at a racetrack to show off their cars and get a little track time. They were met by regional BMW directors and professional drivers competing in the Swedish Touring Car Championship to get tips on driving and information about their cars.
One of the slides shows that the new V10 engine in the M5 is only 1Kg more than the V8 in the old car, but produces 100hp (75kW) more power. Only 78 M5's have been delivered in Sweden so far, so for 25 of them to turn up is a great achievement.
