  • Nokian Tyres’ Audi RS 6 driven to 208.6 mph on ice

    Finnish tire manufacturer Nokian Tyres has smashed its own ice-driving speed record set in March, 2011. The new record, an astonishing speed of 208.6 mph (335.7 kmh), was once again set by the firm’s test driver, Janne Laitinen, and beats the old record by 2.5 mph. Laitinen also used the same car, a stock Audi RS 6 (previous generation), but this time fitted with the company’s Nokian Hakkapelitta 8 studded winter tires.
