  • 2012 Infiniti G25 Sedan

Luxury automaker Infiniti recently announced a few changes to its product lineup for the 2013 model year. First and foremost is the discontinuation of the gateway-to-the-brand G25 sedan, which leaves the automaker without a competitively-priced answer to Lexus’ IS 250. Infiniti didn’t give a reason for the G25’s demise, but we suspect it has to do with disappointing sales of the base model and a strong Japanese yen reducing profit on the smaller-engined G sedan. The G25 will be sold through December of 2012, but sales beyond that will be limited to dealer inventory. Also...

If you’re lucky enough to own either a new Scion FR-S or Subaru BRZ sport coupe, here’s a heads up - both cars are being recalled, but not for a manufacturing defect or safety defect on the car itself. Instead, early versions of the printed owners manual contain incorrect information on...

2013 Porsche 911 Carrera 4 And Carrera 4S Coming Next

Sometimes, the best information on pending model launches comes from the United States government and not from auto manufacturers. That seems to be the case with the next two Porsche 911 models to be released, which have appeared first on the EPA website and not in a Porsche press release. Look for...

Fiat 500 Coupe Zagato Coming In 2013: Report

There are few certainties in life, aside from death, taxes and the number one rule of automakers worldwide: future products are not to be commented on, ever. There’s logic behind such a sentiment, as building excitement for products that don’t exist tends to negatively impact sales of...

2013 BMW 640i Gran Coupe: First Drive

This is not a good time for the indecisive. Just when you thought that BMW couldn't fragment the performance-luxury choices any more—with the X6 and the 5-Series Gran Turismo already appealing to the niche shoppers who are torn between pre-defined vehicle types like coupes, sedans, wagons...

  • 2012 Volvo C70 Inscription

Volvo’s aging C70 power-retractable hardtop coupe will soldier on through the 2013 model year, but there’s no way of knowing if the model has life beyond that. It’s clear that Volvo will shutter the plant that builds the C70, and it’s equally clear that Volvo isn’t working on a C70 replacement. That’s not to say that Volvo is abandoning the idea of a luxury coupe, and Inside Line reports that Volvo may be working on a larger, more upscale C90 coupe to rival offerings from Mercedes-Benz, Audi and BMW. If a Volvo C90 is built, expect it to be bigger and...

    2013 Subaru BRZ First Drive

  • The Melvin Betancourt designed 2013 Shelby GT500

When it comes to special editions, it doesn’t get any rarer than one of one. In an auction to support the Henry Ford Health System, a unique 2013 Ford Shelby GT500, custom designed by Ford stylist Melvin Betancourt, will be sold to the highest bidder. The charity car features a white exterior with white accent striping and white 20-inch wheels. Inside, the Recaro seats are wrapped in (you guessed it) white leather, stitched with contrasting black thread. The design of the car was done as a “thank you” by Betancourt, himself a former patient of the Henry Ford Health System...
