Police in Southern California have reunited the owner of a 1973 Chevrolet Camaro with his car--which was stolen 27 years ago. Nevada resident Robert Andrews reported the car stolen from Santa Ana, California, his former hometown, on July 31, 1983. Recently, a man bought the car from a woman in Los Angeles, who said that the car had been sitting in her backyard for 15 years. Because the car was an older model, the California DMV required it to be inspected by the California Highway Patrol. During the inspection, it became clear the VIN on the windshield was not the original VIN. The original...

A stonking 6.2-liter LS3 V-8 engine is enough meat for most Camaro owners, but not for the obsessives at Lingenfelter. Instead, they shoehorned a supercharged LS9 into the engine bay of a heavily-modified 2010 Camaro SS. And then they shot it full of nitrous. The result? A slick-smoking monster of a straight-strip beast, and the first 2010 Camaro to break into the eight-second range in the quarter. This video shows the car running an 8.99 at 158.60 mph. Vicious.
