Acura is slow-roasting the next-generation NSX to perfection, and if this latest concept is any indication, the wait just might be worth it. While the exterior of this latest concept isn't dramatically different from the previous concept car, there are a few key differences. The lines have been streamlined, the bumpers have been tweaked, and there are some new carbon-fiber exterior trim bits. Most importantly, there's now an interior. We like the plush materials as well as the carbon fiber trim. The overall design is clutter-free, and the shifter has a unique pushbutton design. Acura said...

2014 Acura MDX Preview: Detroit Auto ShowUnlike automakers who show futuristic concepts, only to release production vehicles that look nothing like them, Acura and its parent Honda err of the side of caution. Acura had high hopes for its newest gateway vehicle, the 2013 ILX sedan, which was introduced at last year’s Detroit Auto Show. The idea behind its creation seemed logical enough: by basing an Acura model on the Honda Civic, the automaker could lower the price of entry and attract a younger, hipper audience to the brand. Word was that the ILX could even replace the aging and slightly larger TSX, but that’s not what actually happened. As Wards Auto reports, Acura sold just 12,251 ILX sedans last year, far short of its 30,000 unit sales goal. To really put that number in...

Acura is now deep into testing its next-generation MDX and we managed to scoop a much more complete prototype on the Nürburgring and on some of the German race track's surrounding streets. It was spotted testing alongside a BMW X5 and Porsche Cayenne, two vehicles Acura is hoping to steal sales away from when the new MDX is launched late next year, most likely as a 2014 model. When it finally does arrive, it will bring with it a vast array of new technologies and what appears to be a more streamlined shape. Though camouflaged, it appears the MDX will be sharing a number of styling cues...
