Jean-Claude Camille François Van Varenberg, AKA JCVD, AKA the Muscles from Brussels, is best known by his professional name Jean-Claude Van Damme. He's also, I would assume, best known for the film Bloodsport, which tells the story of Frank Dux as he battles for his life, the memory of his friend, and the championship win in the Kumite.

Now, however, JCVD isn't acting as much as he used to, at least not on major U.S. theater screens. He's not sitting quietly though, as he just stepped up to spread his legs for Volvo trucks.

Literally.

Volvo has a new dynamic steering system called, well, Volvo Dynamic Steering System, which is designed to make its FM commercial truck easier to drive. How does the Volvo team plan to market that? In the most creative way possible.

Mr. Van Damme stands atop the side mirrors of two Volvo trucks. Said trucks are driving backwards, and then they slowly pull away from each other. This forces Mr. Van Damme into one of his, dare I say it, iconic splits. The trucks, the man, the sun behind it all, are all flowing backwards in perfect harmony. It's an idea that is both simple and complex at the same time, and perfectly showcases how easily the Volvo FM can be driven.

That's not to say this is an easy stunt, and we are ready to stand up and applaud the driving skills of both wheelman in the cabs of the trucks. Additionally, we think this could be the jumpstart that JCVD needs to get back into the Hollywood spotlight. Fast and Furious 7? You have your newest team member... let him spread his legs for you too.
