Small car, big engine. It's a classic, typically American story--and like many of the excellent sports cars of the era, it bears Carroll Shelby's touch. It's the 1966 Sunbeam Tiger Mark 1A.

One part British roadster, one part American "yeah, it'll fit," with a dash of Shelby Cobra, the Sunbeam Tiger is less well-known, but no less awesome, than its snakey counterpart.

Check out the video for the history of this particular car, which belongs to Mike Michaels, former editor of the California Association of Tiger Owners newsletter, and, like us, clearly a huge Tiger fan.
