There's no doubt Kia and sister company Hyundai have managed to pull off two of the most extreme makeovers of their corporate images the industry has seen in the last decade. Cars like the Optima, Sorento, and Sportage put Kia firmly at the front of the class in design in their respective segments. So it's not surprising Kia's latest concept, the KV7, looks pretty impressive too.

Though it has some aspects of both the Honda Element and the Ford Flex in its proportions, the overall look of the KV7 is unique, particularly on the inside, where combo gullwing/standard doors open on a swiveling-chair, high-tech, futuristic cabin.k

The KV7 could preview a future production vehicle, but we'd expect the more radical aspects of its design to be replaced by more familiar analogues.
