The Alfa Romeo 4C is not without its flaws, but it's a car that definitely doesn’t disappoint. It’s a sports car with supercar looks and exclusivity, and with a price tag in the mid-$50k bracket it’s also quite the value. Well, at least it used to be. We've learned from 4C product...

Coach-built Alfa Romeo 4C is a stunner inside and out

Alfa Romeo's 4C sports car is an aggressive machine with a no-nonsense interior. It's an Italian beauty with an angry soul, and it's goal isn't to coddle but to seek out and destroy local track times. It takes the hand of a skilled styling house, ideally an Italian one, to turn the 4C into...

V-8-powered Alfa Romeo 4C hill climb car is a serious machine

We need more hill climb events here in the United States. Why you ask? Well, first off that's a dumb question. Secondly, the reason it's dumb is because you don't understand the sort of twisted, mental machinery that shows up to compete in these things. A properly mad hill climb machine usually...

  • 2016 Alfa Romeo 4C

Alfa Romeo today announced the 2016 changes for its 4C and 4C Spider sports cars. Highlighting the changes are more carbon fiber and an even louder exhaust note. The 4C and 4C Spider, which share a carbon fiber monocoque chassis, are offered with a new Carbon Fiber Trim Package that adds carbon fiber on the interior vents, instrument cluster surround, and instrument panel and shifter bezels. In an effort to make this beast even more raw, Alfa will offer a new Akrapovi? dual-mode electronically controlled exhaust system later in the model year. It will have dual center-mounted tips with a...

  • Rendering of a possible Alfa Romeo Duetto

Alfa Romeo's Duetto Spider may have shot to fame in the 1967 film The Graduate, but even this Hollywood endorsement couldn't stop the car from being axed in 1993. Now, Alfa Romeo's CEO, Luca de Meo says that he has dreams of bringing back the iconic Alfa Spider, along with his plan to sell 300,000 Alfa Romeos every year from 2010. Alfa's head honcho established this goal earlier this year, but emphasized that even though the global automotive market may be in a meltdown of sorts it would not affect Alfa's goal to move 300,000 units annually. Alfa Romeo sold just half that figure last year...
