Alfa Romeo today announced the 2016 changes for its 4C and 4C Spider sports cars. Highlighting the changes are more carbon fiber and an even louder exhaust note.

The 4C and 4C Spider, which share a carbon fiber monocoque chassis, are offered with a new Carbon Fiber Trim Package that adds carbon fiber on the interior vents, instrument cluster surround, and instrument panel and shifter bezels.

In an effort to make this beast even more raw, Alfa will offer a new Akrapovi? dual-mode electronically controlled exhaust system later in the model year. It will have dual center-mounted tips with a carbon fiber surround. Integrated with the Alfa DNA selector, it will deliver maximum sound in the Dynamic and Race modes.

Also new is a premium leather interior with Tobacco and Black sport seats and Black leather interior trim with Tobacco accent stitching.

Both models jump in price by $2,000. That brings the coupe to $55,900, plus $1,595 destination, while the Spider rises to $65,900, plus $1,595 destination.

The 2016 Alfa Romeo 4C and 4C Spider are arriving in dealerships now.
