Director Michael Bay has revealed a new vehicle mode for one of the giant robots in the fifth Transformers movie currently under filming, Transformers: The Last Knight.

The vehicle mode is for the Decepticon Barricade who in previous movies was represented by a fifth-generation Ford Motor Company [NYSE:F] Mustang police car based on a Saleen 'Stang.

For the latest movie, which premieres June 23, 2017, he’s stepped up to the sixth-gen car.

To punish and enslave

The car features the same Barricade traits as its predecessors such as the protective bars up front and the “to punish and enslave” tag on its rear fenders, as well as some new features such as the blacked-out headlight surrounds, vented hood and A-pillar-mounted spotlights.

No doubt we’ll see some thrilling chases involving Barricade on the tail of Autobots such as Bumblebee, whose vehicle mode was recently revealed as the sixth-gen Chevrolet Camaro.

Filling the human roles are a few returning actors from the previous movies. The list includes Mark Wahlberg as tinkerer Cade Yeager, Josh Duhamel as Lt. Colonel William Lennox, and Peter Cullen once again reprising his role as the voice of Optimus Prime. It’s also thought legendary actor Anthony Hopkins will be part of the crew.
