The new Ford GT was designed and created secretly, and to do so required a secret underground lab. This week Ford gave us a peek inside this hidden room, along with a look at the GT throughout the designing stages. From clay models and full-scale design bucks to sketches, we saw it all.
The 2017 Bentley Bentayga SUV is set to enter production fairly soon, and this week we saw what must be a final shakedown test being performed. Our spy photographers caught the Bentayga both hitting the track and undergoing towing tests with a trailer.
Advanced headlight tech isn't new. In fact, the German automakers have been working on some innovative lighting applications for years. Some prime examples are BMW's Laser Lights and Audi's Matrix LED systems. Now, Ford is working on a lighting system that will use GPS signals, infrared cameras and other tech to bend around corners and predict the upcoming road conditions.
Terrafugia has yet to actually put a flying car into production, or sell one. But that hasn't stopped the company from making an animated video promoting a next-gen flying car. Frankly, the company should probably focus its resources on getting its first product out the door and in the public's hands before spending time or money creating its next one.
We drove the 2015 Nissan GT-R NISMO and completely understand why some hate it while others love it. It's insanely fast, has great boy-racer looks, and destroys cars costing far more. At the same time, it's harsh, brash, and can be a bit of overkill on the street. We understand the dividing line, but fall on the side of love when it comes to this one.
