British limousine specialist Limo Broker has done the unthinkable and announced plans to destroy a perfectly good Audi R8 in order to convert it into a stretch limo.

Worse than the Maserati Quattroporte limo we previously saw for sale on eBay, and possibly even the stretched Ferrari we saw at the 2010 Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance, Limo Broker--not satisfied with any old R8--has decided to go with a high-performance V-10 model.

That’s right. The firm’s engineers will proceed to slice in half one of Audi’s 525-horsepower V-10 powered R8s to build what they claim could potentially be the fastest stretch limo on the planet.

Some ‘unique’ elements of the design will include several rows of forward-facing sports bucket seats, gullwing doors, and the R8’s optional R tronic automated manual transmission. The video above, first picked up by World Car Fans, gives us an idea of what Limo Broker is planning.

Let’s just hope that only one of these monstrosities is built, though the video has us thinking that there may be more to come.
