1965 Ford Mustang Sport Wagon

1965 Ford Mustang Sport Wagon

The shooting brake (or break, for the obstinately homophonic) is one of our favorite form factors, mingling the svelte simplicity of a coupe with the utility of a small hatchback or wagon. This 1965 Mustang Sport Wagon is an exemplar of the breed, and something we must have in our garage someday.

Custom built by Joe Ramp, this exquisite example of two-door long-backedness is equipped with a more modern fuel-injected engine and (best of all) a five-speed manual transmission. The red and gold paint job seals the deal.

If you've got the hankering as bad as we do, you're out of luck, because the eBay auction for the car has ended early.

Hat tip to John V.!
