What makes a supercar a supercar? It’s a question asked by many, and answered in as many different ways. But one objective determination of a supercar is its propensity to catch fire for no good reason. By that metric, the Zenvo ST1 is a proper supercar.

Of course, the supercharged, turbocharged, 1,104-horsepower V-8 mounted behind the driver also makes a good argument for supercar status.

Here, Jeremy Clarkson rumbles his way through a characteristically snarky review of the car for Top Gear. Along the way, the clutch fails, the car proves almost completely undrivable, and, ultimately, it catches fire—horrible, all-consuming, fire-of-death fire.

If it’s good enough for Ferrari, Lamborghini, and Porsche, it’s surely good enough for Zenvo.
