The Porsche 911 GT3 is one of our favorite cars here at Motor Authority. Whether it’s the previous-generation 997 or the latest 991, it’s hard to find a better package that’s drivable on the street and still fully capable at the track.

In the video above, none other than ‘Ring queen Sabine Schmitz compares the two most recent generations of GT3. She isn’t at the Nürburgring this time, but she still puts on a good show—and the 997 in the clip just so happens to be her personal car.
Schmitz is currently affiliated with RSR Nürburg, which produced the latest video. The company, located just outside the Nürburgring, loans a number of cars including race cars and exotics for anyone wanting to drive on the notorious German track. And if you’re up for it, you can even be a passenger in a hot lap driven by Schmitz herself.
