The next generation of the Mercedes-Benz C-Class is almost ready for its auto show debut, and accordingly engineers testing the car have let their guard down when it comes to concealing prototypes. Our latest spy shots give a good idea as to what the new C-Class, due next year as a 2015 model, will look like out on the road.
This lovely photo of the 2015 Audi S3 was taken during our first drive of the car in beautiful Monte Carlo. It’s a decent rival to the Mercedes-Benz CLA45 AMG, though the Mercedes still wins when it comes to power output; let’s hope Audi hurries up and brings out a new RS 3.

This beast of a car is a custom wide-body 2014 Ford Mustang built for the upcoming Need For Speed movie. It will also be taking to the track this weekend as the official pace car of NASCAR Sprint Cup’s Ford EcoBoost 400 series finale at Homestead-Miami Speedway.

Pictured above is another custom ride, a classic Series 1 Jaguar E-Type that has been stretched by four and a half inches to accommodate its rather tall driver. The modification work is so immaculate that you’d never guess the car wasn’t built like this straight from the factory.

Subaru is set to debut its long-awaited 2015 WRX next week, but the first photos of the car, some official and some not so official, surfaced this week. The new WRX will once again feature a turbocharged engine and symmetrical all-wheel drive. We’ll see it for the first time on November 20 at the 2013 Los Angeles Auto Show.

Another Subaru on show in L.A. will be this striking Subaru Legacy Concept. As its name suggests, the car is a preview of the next-generation Legacy, which will land in showrooms next fall as a 2015 model.

Arabian supercar startup W Motors revealed its second model this week, the Lykan Supersport. It shares its mechanicals with W Motors’ 750-horsepower Lykan Hypersport but is said to be developing more than 1,000 horsepower in a chassis that weighs less than 2,650 pounds.

This week we also got our first look at Lincoln’s next major product introduction, the 2015 MKC. The big news is that the MKC debuts with a brand new engine, a 2.3-liter EcoBoost four-cylinder that will eventually feature in the 2015 Ford Mustang.
