Official pricing released today reveals the 2014 RS 7 will start from $104,900 plus $895 in destination fees, for a total price of $105,795. That's about $7,000 less than the new BMW M6 Gran Coupe.
But can the RS 7 keep up? We'll have our first drive review and video for you in the near future, but on paper, the RS 7 looks impressive: 0-60 mph takes just 3.7 seconds; 560 horsepower is delivered through all four wheels via quattro all-wheel drive; top speed is 174 mph. By comparison, the 560-horsepower M6 Gran Coupe scampers to 60 mph in 4.1 seconds, and comes standard with an electronic speed cap of 155 mph.
Whether the real-world dynamics can match the dapper looks and strong spec sheet is another matter, however.
