The BMW 3-Series coupe is dead, long live the BMW 4-Series.
If you agree, you may be ready to start planning out a compact coupe of your own. Now you can do just that because the BMW 4-Series configurator is up and running on the automaker's website. The cheapest way in is the 428i, which starts at $40,500. Should you prefer to start at the top, you can begin with the $48,000 435i xDrive. Well, that is until the M4 configurator comes online.
For now, you'll have to make do with the 435i M-Sport to satisfy your sporting desires. There's also the 435i Luxury and Sport Line as well. From there it's a matter of exterior and interior colors, a few wheel choices, and the standard slew of interior amenities.
If you're feeling spendy, you can spec out the 435i xDrive to a few ticks over $67,000. If you do that, however, you're an insane person who thinks the Porsche pricing scheme is a wonderful model that other automakers should follow. Just wait for the M4 and save a few bucks.
Of course, you could also just jump up to the 5-Series at that point. You're gaining two doors and more room for your equally well-heeled friends.
