Deliveries of the Ferrari F12 Berlinetta have only just begun so it’s a bit of a surprise to see one already involved in an accident.

Fortunately, that accident was only a minor fender bender, though the force was strong enough to prop up the hood.

There’s likely to also be some damage on the red car’s front bumper.

The crash occurred on Sunday night on the Jiefang Bridge in Guangzhou, in China’s Guangdong Province.

Another image of the accident on CarNewsChina (via Autoblog.nl) shows that the SUV the Ferrari hit first rear-ended the vehicle in front of it and caused this small pile-up.

The car reportedly arrived at the Ferrari dealership in Guangzhou only three days ago and was yet to even have its insurance completed. Fortunately for its owner this wasn’t a more serious accident.

The F12 Berlinetta is the fastest and most powerful road car ever launched by Ferrari. It features a 6.3-liter V-12 engine rated at 729 horsepower and 508 pound-feet of torque, and in the U.S. it will set you back $315,888.
