Of course, it won't let you actually test drive the car, that'd be silly (though we aren't ruling it out, one day...).
Instead, it lets customers involve themselves in Ford's reveal of the Fusion, using virtual images of the car. Users have to take a photo of a Ford logo using their smartphone's camera, and then they'll be able to drive the new Fusion through a series of "worlds" that gradually unlock to fully reveal the car.
As they do so, they can learn more about the engineering and technology behind the all-new model, and hopefully have a bit of fun at the same time. The app also includes videos and original music to add to the entertainment.
In addition, potential Fusion customers will be able to share their virtual experience with friends on Facebook or Twitter by posting up images of the virtual drive.
