The annual Pebble Beach Concours d’ Elegance is a place for all things luxury and automotive and we can’t think of anything that fits the bill more than this 24-karat gold Ferrari 250 GTO sculpture that was created by Swiss artist Dante.

The sculpture will coincide with a special display of 20 rare Ferrari 250 GTO cars which the Concours has assembled from all over the world.  The classic Ferrari is one of Dante’s favorite cars of all time and the gold sculpture is a tribute to the men who made the original car, men Dante feels are just as worthy of the artist title as he is.

Dante is no stranger to fine materials, having created several masterpieces in gold as well as platinum, steel and wood. He’s worked in the automotive field as well, having created custom furniture pieces and vehicle body designs for select car collectors in the past.

If a Ferrari isn’t your thing, Dante has also created a Mercedes-Benz 300SL and Aston Martin DB5, also crafted from 24-karat gold.
