Taking advantage of the recent snowy weather in the northern part of the country, 16-year-old Tom Murphy of Manteno, Illinois, decided to build a Mustang convertible out of the snow in hopes of making the point that he would like a real Mustang convertible for his first car. Murphy's dad joined in, spending six hours helping the younger Murphy build the seats. All told, the project took sixteen hours. The Murphy family has sent photos to Ford, in hopes of being provided with a Snow White Mustang convertible as a reward for their efforts. [Mustang Evolution via Jalopnik]

The automotive aftermarket has not forgotten about V-6 powered Mustangs. ProCharger, which already makes a supercharger that adds 140 horsepower to the 5.0-liter V-8 GT, is about to introduce a new supercharger for the 3.7-liter V-6, which makes 305 horsepower in stock form.
