With Hyundai the official sponsor of Super Bowl 50, it’s understandable that the automaker would have more than one costly spot running during the game. We’ve already seen Hyundai’s spot for the 2017 Elantra and now we have our first look at a spot for the 2016 Genesis.

What’s odd is that Hyundai has chosen to promote a car that’s set to undergo an update later this year, an update that will include both a brand and name change. For the 2017 model year, the svelte sedan will adopt the G80 name and join the larger G90 over at Hyundai’s new Genesis luxury brand.

As for the ad itself, it’s a lighthearted piece starring comedian Kevin Hart. It runs for 60 seconds and will air during the coveted pre-kick time slot. In it, Hart plays a protective father who uses the Hyundai Blue Link Car Finder feature to keep track of his daughter during a first date.

Super Bowl 50 will see the Carolina Panthers take on the Denver Broncos at Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, California this Sunday, February 7. You can learn about some of the other Big Game spots by clicking here.
