The Beijing Auto Show, as well as its sister event in Shangai, is now recognized as one of the industry’s most important, so it should come as little surprise that the most recent one was packed with new concept and model debuts. One of the stars was BMW’s Vision Future Luxury, a large, luxurious sedan concept that previews the styling of the German automaker’s future lineup starting with the next-generation 7-Series due out next year.
Another concept previewing a future model was the striking Lincoln MKX concept. The American luxury brand has just entered the Chinese market, and an exciting concept reveal during one of the nation’s premier auto shows is a great way of putting itself on the map.

It may not be as exciting as some of the other vehicles on show in Beijing this week, but Chevrolet’s next-generation Cruze, which made its world debut at the Chinese event, is a crucial model for the Bowtie brand. That’s because the current Cruze is Chevy’s most popular model worldwide, and it’s likely this new one will be too.

The penultimate edition in a series of six special edition Bugatti Veyrons honoring the most important people and cars that have shaped Bugatti’s history was in Beijing this week. Part of the Les Légendes de Bugatti (Bugatti Legends) series, this fifth car is reminiscent of the famed Bugatti Type 18 affectionately known as Black Bess, which at one point was the fastest road car in the world.
