Video footage has been captured of a late model BMW M3 Coupe crashing into a concrete center divider at high speed after its driver loses control of the car in very wet conditions. The M3 is seen overtaking another vehicle on the right when suddenly it hits a large patch of water and then careens across another lane and into the center divider.

The M3 is clearly traveling with some speed as the car is thrown into the air and then proceeds to roll down the highway upon crashing into the barrier. According to the person who posted the video to YouTube, no one was seriously injured in the crash.

The wrecked car appears to have been an E92 BMW M3 Coupe, which comes powered by a 4.0-liter V-8 delivering 414 horsepower and 295 pound-feet of torque. When conditions are right, the car will sprint from 0-60 mph in 4.8 seconds or less and reach a delimited top speed of 178 mph.

As painful as it is to watch the M3 get destroyed, the video serves as an important reminder to drive cautiously when conditions are poor, especially if you happen to be driving a high-performance rear-wheel drive sports car on a rain-soaked highway.
