It's been a banner weekend for new and upcoming models, with the 2012 BMW M6 leading the way. Due first as a convertible and later this summer as a 2013-model coupe, the new M6 packs a potent twin-turbo V-8 engine and lots of other upgrades. And it looks great.

Kia is planning a new flagship sedan, and we expect it to share some bits with Hyundai's Equus sedan, including its V-8 engine and possible a 10-speed automatic transmission. Will this be the new bargain in the luxury segment?

The Geneva Motor Show is drawing near, and the leaks are springing: the 2013 Lexus RX has shown its face ahead of its debut at the show, and while we don't have much in the way of details yet, we only have a few weeks to wait for the full monty.

You'll find the full details on these stories and more in the day's car news links below.
