Hyundai’s new Genesis brand made its mark on the world of luxury autos with the unveiling of the G90 full-size sedan earlier this year. However, the G90 is just the first of six distinct cars Genesis will launch before the decade is out.

Another will be a small sedan about the size of BMW’s 3-Series. It will be badged a G70 and at next week’s 2016 New York Auto Show we will be given a preview in the form of a concept.

Genesis has released a single teaser shot of the concept which is shaping up to be a very stylish and sporty looking sedan. No other details were released but we can expect the concept to feature a rear-wheel-drive layout.

The next model from Genesis will likely be the G80, essentially an updated version of the current Hyundai Genesis sedan. Also in the pipeline are two SUVs and a new coupe to replace the current Hyundai Genesis Coupe.

Some of the new models from Genesis, such as the G70, will be getting high-performance variants developed by Hyundai’s new N performance division. And responsible for the design of all these cars will be former Bentley and Lamborghini design boss Luc Donckerwolke.

We’ll have all the details soon as the New York Auto Show gets underway March 23. In the meantime, learn about some of the other vehicles set to appear by visiting our dedicated hub.
