Last night, electric car startup Faraday Future unveiled a concept car boasting a 1,000-horsepower output at the Consumer Electronics Show currently taking place in Las Vegas. While the concept may be a little over the top, its technology, such as the Variable Architecture Platform, hints at what’s to come for Faraday’s future road cars.
Mercedes-Benz’s new E-Class isn’t due for a reveal until next week’s Detroit Auto Show but you can see it in full thanks to dozens of leaked shots. The car combines an attractive exterior with loads of new technology and should prove hard to beat in the luxury mid-size segment.
The United States Justice Department has filed a lawsuit against Volkswagen over the automaker’s recent emissions cheating scandal. Based on the the number of vehicles affected by the scandal, the damage bill for VW could total as much as $19 billion.
