Recently we told you that November’s 2014 Los Angeles Auto Show would play host to 25 world premieres. Well, organizers have now revealed that the number of world premieres has increased to 30, and the number of North American firsts will be around double that figure.

Almost every major automaker has news to make in Los Angeles, but several stand out with multiple premieres of significant new vehicles. They are mostly the German automakers, with Audi and Mercedes-Benz each confirming three premieres and BMW confirming two. Porsche says it will hold several world reveals.

We’ve heard that one of the Audi reveals will be a new A9 concept, while one of the Porsches is expected to be a 911 GTS. Mercedes-Benz is likely to introduce a new SUV while BMW is thought to be bringing its new X5 M and X6 M performance SUVs.

The Japanese automakers will be present too. Mazda will show a brand new model, possibly the next-generation CX-9, and Lexus is set to introduce something new, thought to be a GS F or production LF-LC. Scion also has announced it's planning a global premiere of an all-new vehicle in L.A.

Of course, American brands will be out in force as well. Chevrolet has committed to two global premieres, while Cadillac will present its 2015 ATS-V sedan. Chrysler will also show off its 2015 300.

Press days for the 2014 Los Angeles Auto Show run November 18-20, and we have a dedicated hub set up with all of the latest coverage.
