A lot of racing games have offered historic Formula 1 race cars, especially those of the legendary 1980s, but Codemasters aims to bring its own spin to the action with a full grid of 1990s F1 cars driven by Alain Prost, David Coulthard, Jacques Villeneuve, Eddie Irvine, and more.

You'll also get to race the modern classic F1 cars on F1 tracks no longer on the schedule, like Estoril and Imola. The video gives a tiny taste of what the cars will look like. They look tasty.

F1 2013: Classic Edition will be offered as a special-edition game and the content will be available to owners of the standard F1 2013 game as a pair of add-on packs (DLC) to the F1 2013 game, to be launched later this year. F1 2013 will be available on Xbox 360, Playstation 3, and Windows PC. The standard game will include classic F1 cars, and tracks, too, through its F1 Classics mode.
