Vehicle personalization is all the rage these days, with virtually every automaker in the luxury game and even some mainstream makes starting up departments dedicated to offering customers a chance to add personal touches to their cars before they leave the factory. Lotus saw the need several years ago but due to limited resources at the time outsourced its personalization work to tuning firm Mansory.

Now, Lotus has launched its own personalization program called Lotus Exclusive. Working closely with the Lotus design team, Lotus Exclusive consultants offer numerous interior and exterior options, from minor jobs such as custom paint finishes and body graphics to extensive personalization such as full race car preparation.
The good news is that you can opt for the Lotus Exclusive program whether you’re buying a new model or an existing customer. Of course, your options as an existing customer will be limited unless you’re prepared to have your car sent back to the factory. Currently, the program is only offered in Europe but there are plans to expand it to other markets during 2016.
