There’s nothing like seeing a staggered race to compare and contrast the performance of different vehicles, and it’s always fun when a Formula One car is involved. This latest video from oil giant ExxonMobil ups the fan factor by including an interactive 360-degree view.

The race takes place at Silverstone, and in the F1 car is Jenson Button. He’s up against fellow racing drivers Kevin Magnussen in a McLaren 650S supercar and Stoffel Vandoorne in a European-spec Honda Civic Sport hot hatch.
Ironically, the F1 car featured here is the Mercedes-powered McLaren MP4-29 from the 2014 season. Given the poor performance of the Honda-powered MP4-30 this season, the result may have been very different if the newer car was used.
