While Jay Leno's Garage is always informative—how much do you really know about the 1937 Talbot-Lago Type 150 CS?—it's safe to say fellow comedian Jerry Seinfeld's Comedians In Cars Getting Coffee features more goofy fun along with the high-end hardware. Past episodes have featured everyone from David Letterman to Tina Fey, and everything from Fiats to Ferraris.
Last year, the web-only show picked up Acura as a sponsor, and by the looks of this season's teaser, the guests are as great as ever. Could Seinfeld have picked a better car than the Lamborghini Countach to go cruising around with Jim Carrey? Both of them are loud, ridiculous, and impossible to ignore, so we think they make a perfect pair. Given the car's famously dismal driving dynamics, it'll be interesting to see how the pair fair on their coffee cruise.
Other folks who'll be stopping by include Stephen Colbert—his gray beard makes Jerry's choice of a Morgan absolutely perfect—Bill Maher, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, and Trevor Noah, who'll be taking over the Daily Show from Jon Stewart this fall. Along with the Countach, some of the cars we can expect to see are an Aston Martin DB5, a Ferrari 308, and a slightly more humble '57 Chevy Bel Air. We can't wait.
Watch the new season of Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee beginning at 11:30 p.m. ET on June 3.
