BMW has started the official marketing campaign for its new 2-Series, the replacement for the outgoing 1-Series Coupe. The campaign has kicked off with a teaser video that confirms BMW plans to reveal its 2-Series this Friday.

Mercedes-Benz has also started a marketing campaign for one of its upcoming models, the 2015 C-Class. We get a glimpse of the new sedan in an official teaser video, and from what we can ascertain from the short clip it’s going to be a great looking car.

Despite Fisker’s ongoing woes, VL Automotive, a startup that plans to sell Fisker Karma sedans powered by good ol’ American V-8s, says its plans remain on track. In an interview, VL backer Bob Lutz said the company will be back at the 2014 Detroit Auto Show in January and will have a new concept to show off.
