Only 10 examples of the Neiman Marcus Vanquish Volante are being offered, each priced at $344,500. That’s hardly the most expensive item in the catalog, though. Also included this year are a $1.85 million diamond ring and a $1.5 million entertainment system complete with a 201-inch TV.
Nevertheless, $344,500 is an expensive price to pay for a car, but you are buying one of the most stunning vehicles on the market, and it’s also a great drive.
There are also a number of elements unique to this Neiman Marcus edition. For example, the shade of blue it comes in is called Seychelles Blue and is exclusive to the car. Matching blue is used for the brake calipers and contrasts nicely with the shadow finish 20-inch wheels and sterling silver and flux enamel badges.
Inside, Neiman Marcus has chosen semi-aniline leather seats finished in Aurora Blue with contrast stitching. There's also Walnut trim, "Neiman Marcus" embroidered headrests and a matching four piece leather luggage set designed to squeeze into the Vanquish Volante’s trunk.
Like all 2014 Aston Martin Vanquish Volantes, the Neiman Marcus edition is handbuilt in England and comes with a 6.0-liter V-12 rated at 565 horsepower and 457 pound-feet of torque. The engine is matched to a six-speed automatic with paddle shifters and spins the rear wheels only.
If you’re interested, you had better act fast, as previous Neiman Marcus cars have sold out literally within minutes. Call lines (1-888-756-0775) open at noon EDT on October 23. Note, Neiman Marcus will donate $3,000 from every sale to its The Heart of Neiman Marcus Foundation.
