The Jaguar Project 7 is a more extreme take on the elegant, sporty new F-Type. Drawing on historic Jaguar themes found in the C-Type and D-Type, the Project 7 is a real, driving car--not just a showpiece. But what went into the process, and what does it mean for Jaguar?

In this video Jaguar's lead designer Ian Callum explains what went into the World Car Design of the Year-winning Project 7 and what it means to him.

While Jaguar has told us that it isn't intended for production in any way, the Project 7 could foreshadow some of the performance elements that will make their way onto the eventual F-Type R, R-S, and R-S GT versions of the car.
