Infiniti released a sketch of the Q30 concept, which will make its debut at the 2013 Frankfurt Auto Show next month. The concept previews Infiniti's upcoming compact car due in 2015. The car's design is described as "slender, sleek and seductive."

Subaru dashed the dreams of many when we learned details regarding the BRZ tS Concept. Instead of being a full-blown STI model, it's merely a BRZ tuned by STI with some bolt-on parts including a sporty body kit, alloy wheels, upgraded suspension and exhaust. Subaru is considering a more extreme performance variant, but that is likely to be reserved for later in the car's product cycle.

Tesla reported its second quarter financial results, which included net income of $26 million. While sales numbers weren't discussed, it did reveal that 5,150 Model S sedans were delivered in the three-month period.
