For the first time in 54 years, the Daytona 500 was postponed due to rain. The organizers did everything in their power to try have the show go on, including the use of 10 jet dryers.

While it looked like the weather might let up a bit, in the end mother nature was not willing to cooperate. The race will commence this evening.

Images and video of the new Volvo V40 have leaked onto the Internet ahead of its Geneva Motor Show debut. While its reported that the V40 is not U.S.-bound, we hear Volvo is considering a crossover variant called the XC40. If true, this model would likely come to the U.S. as Volvo feels consumers in America are more interested in crossovers and SUVs than station wagons and hatchbacks. Which is unfortunate since the V40 looks to be a hatchback with all the right curves.

We had our first chance to slide behind the wheel of the 2012 Jaguar XKR-S coupe. The noises that come from the exhaust combined with the power produced by that large supercharged 5.0-liter V-8 made us get goosebumps. We found it to be a great performance car, but not the best Jaguar.
