2013 Lexus GS 350 F Sport

Making its debut next week at the Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) show in Las Vegas will be the 2013 Lexus GS 350 F Sport, a slightly less mild version of the recently revealed 2013 Lexus GS 350 though a far cry from the high-performance GS F everyone is holding out for.

While the few static shots of the car released by Lexus show off some of its details, this latest video gives us the best indication of how the sporty variant of the GS 350 line will look out on the road.

While we can’t say the F Sport enhancements detract from the clean lines of the regular GS 350, it does appear rather busy at the front but still somewhat mild at the rear, giving it an almost unbalanced look.

Nevertheless, the 2013 Lexus GS 350 F Sport is still a very handsome car. It’s a shame there aren’t any serious performance modifications to go with it.

In case you’re wondering, the car has been fitted with 19-inch wheels, an adjustable suspension setup, thicker anti-roll bars, new bushings, and larger brakes up front biting high friction pads.

Power comes from a stock standard 3.5-liter V-6 rated at 306 horsepower and 277 pound-feet of torque and capable of sending the car from 0-60 mph in 5.7 seconds. The transmission is a six-speed automatic with paddle shifters and can be set in Normal, ECO, Sport S and Sport + modes.

Inside, the F Sport package adds a new 16-way power driver’s sport seat, unique interior design treatments and unique F Sport Cabernet Red leather trim.
