Audi is making it easier for smartphone users and owners of other portable devices with wireless capability by launching a whole new range of mobile experiences, particularly for those in the U.S.

The strategy began with the recent re-launch of the automaker’s U.S. based mobile website, m.audiusa.com, which now includes downloadable product apps, interactive banner ads, and dealer locators.

With this new functionality, existing Audi owners also can use the site to make lease payments or schedule maintenance visits.

One example of the new features is an interactive iPad application for the A6, A7, and A8 models, which users can download now from the Apple iTunes Store.
