We’re now just a week out from its world debut at the 2011 Frankfurt Auto Show, but in the lead up to that epic day enjoy this mega-gallery of the new 2012 Porsche 911 Carrera model.

Recently, we had our first look at the car’s controversial seven-speed manual “H” shift pattern, but here’s what it looks like inside the cabin.

Look closely and you’ll also note the optional Sport Chrono Package and retractable rear seats.

This seventh-generation 911 is one of the biggest, its wheelbase growing some 3.9 inches over its predecessor’s. However, the 2012 Porsche 911 also sits much lower, giving it an athletic yet elegant appearance. A wider front track is also present.

Initially, only the Carrera and Carrera S models will be launched, with output ranging from 350 horsepower in the base Carrera and topping out at 400 horsepower in the Carrera S. While this may not seem much more than in the respective 997 variants, overall weight of the new 991 is down 100 pounds.
